While I was at the 2006 GLGDW Best Practices conference in Milwaukee, I brought this up to Tamar Granor of "FoxPro Advisor". she stated that a couple of years ago the Advisor ran a great series on beginning FoxPro. Available for a subscriprtion as well.

That may be a good avenue for people looking to get into the language.
