I would look more at the printer drivers used though and try installing a later version or installing the MSFT version of the printer drivers. Does the pc reboot if the customer uses a standard MSFT HP4 driver during print preview? Obviously he could not print if that printer doesn't exist, but he could 'fake' an HP LaserJet 4 printer in windows and test the print preview in VFP...

Yes, it does use the printer driver.

To clarify what Tracy (hopefully :)) meant about the video driver:

- make sure the installed driver is the exactly correct one for the make and model of the card
- be sure to download the latest one from ATI; early ATI drivers for their older cards were notoriously buggy
- one way to quickly determine if it's a video driver issue is to temporarily switch the computer to one of the standard built-in MS drivers e.g. 640x480 16-color, 800x600 "Super VGA" etc. The screen will look poor - low resolution and/or color depth but it's very useful for testing
- DON'T use an ATI driver for a different ATI model, whether you think it might be "compatible" or not. This is a sure way to trouble.
