I haven't found it that slow at all, projects open up in a couple seconds. How do you handle the generation of the text files from the SCX, VCX, etc?

>Well, when I used VSS in the IDE, I was tired of waiting for the PM to populate itself. So I started switching between the apps. That took significantly less time, as the VSS interface is self-contained - it shows status for files it has direct access to much faster than vfp can interrogate vss for those statuses..

I have been using VSS for many many years and don't really have many complaints besides it being slow at times. But I've got to the stage where I need to do some sharing and branching and I believe VSS doesn't handle this too well.

Frank.
