>I have an old program written in FPW2.6 which is working over windows network (not client server). Some days before when number of records does not exceeded 100000 everything worked just fine but now some problems occured. Simple SELECT from two tables (one with 20k records and another with 100k records) joined with two fields cause an error "Internal consistency error". Some times error occured, sometimes not. From stations where is installed Windows XP program works OK, but from stations with Win 98 problem is permanent. I tried everything with config.fp, added memory, changed network adapters and nothing. I even tried to run program from server (from workstation) and same problem. Of course, solution is to rewrite program to VFP but it takes time and money for client (which is not willing to pay). Maybe, reinstalling windows to Win XP is solution but it is additional cost for client too.

Have you checked the memory in the win98 PC compared to the winxp PC? It may be a memory configuration issue.
