I will get to your questions in another reply. Right now, I wonder if you might know how to follow up on what I got back from Microsoft.

I posted this problem as a bug to the VS 2005 Visual C++ team. They sent me the following response:

"We have investigated issue and it seems that problem code lies within vfpoledb.dll, which is MS OLEDB Visual FoxPro provider. We will followup with Visual FoxPro team for further investigation."

When I asked how I might be able to check the status of this, they responded:

"Unfortunately, MSDN feedback forum cannot be used to track this issue further. Please contact PSS regarding VSWhidbey bug# 607106 which is used to track issue in Visual FoxPro OLEDB provider."

At that point, they closed my incident.

Do you know how to get any information about VSWhidbey bug #607106?
