I have a combo box displaying a list that a person can select from. I notice that if one moves the mouse straight down while the list is displayed, the entries in the list automatically highlight as the mouse passes even though nothing on the list is clicked on.

So for example if you look below, if I move the mouse straight down, "Dr." is highlighted in the drop down by default, even though I do not click on it and it does not selected.

Is there any way to turn off this behavior? I am using VFP 9.
