I want to store a VFPcursor as XML with the schema (cursorToXML) in a single field on a table in SQLServer 2000. I've noticed messages that say XML must be stored in a binary memo field in VFP. What type of field would it have to be stored in on an SQLserver? text? varbinary?

Has anyone done this?

Are there problems with the SQLexec statements that would save the XML?

If I have to move the project up to VFP 9 I can but it would slow down my work.
