The Brits have a documentary I saw about a year ago called (something like) "Selling the nightmare" which essentially said that politicians almost world wide have taken to "selling" our safetly and security RATHER THAN working to grow society to better serve its members.

And Mr. Olbermann's observation that these activities (speeches, commercials, advertisements, etc) preaching grave dangers that ONLY Xxxxxxxx CAN PROTECT US FROM, meet precisely the definition of terrorism and 'to terorize', is bang on. This does put these people in EXACTLY THE SAME CATEGORY as those they claim to be able to protect us from.

The number and frequency of the speeches/commercials/etc promoting the grave dangers far exceed the few tapes that come out from Al Qaeda from time to time.
