I saw the light (Apologies to Hank Williams)
http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2006-10-24-talk-radio_x.htmI wandered so aimless, life filled with sin;
I wouldn't ask my dear Saviour in.
Then Jesus came like a stranger in the night;
Praise the Lord, I saw the light!
Chorus
I saw the light, I saw the light.
No more darkness; no more night.
Now I'm so happy no sorrow in sight.
Praise the Lord, I saw the light!
Just like a blind man I wandered alone,
Worries and fears I claimed for my own.
Then like the blind man that Jesus gave back his sight;
Praise the Lord, I saw the light!
Just like a blind man I wandered alone,
Worries and fears I claimed for my own.
Then like the blind man that Jesus gave back his sight;
Praise the Lord, I saw the light!
Chorus
I saw the light, I saw the light.
No more darkness; no more night.
Now I'm so happy no sorrow in sight.
Praise the Lord, I saw the light!
I was a fool to wander astray,
For straight is the gate and narrow is the way.
Now I have traded the wrong for the right;
Praise the Lord, I saw the light!
Chorus
I saw the light, I saw the light.
No more darkness; no more night.
Now I'm so happy no sorrow in sight.
Praise the Lord, I saw the light!
Now brothers and sisters go forth and convert dem disbelievers! :)
This is one way to get around the equal time provision of the FCC. Do you think that each of the members of the Bush administration had the same story or each one had his/her own version of what the government was doing? I would think that after six years they could all get on the same tracks. This has made me wonder if Bush talks to his administration or if his administration is just creative.
The first four years of the Bush presidency saw each member of the administration present different views on the same subject. Even now the press secretary has to clarify what the president really meant after Bush gives a speech. At least that has not changed.
