From 2.x days I *never* prefix a field name, on the basis that there is an excellent chance that real USERs will see such names and I don't want to confuse or even bother them with "technical" crap.

Yes, in VFP we can now more easily change the titles of columns and the like, but why make it so you even have to bother?
