Guys, this is sorta silly...

1) Please take a look at CommandClauses, you don't need a property for this, you already have one. This tells you what command (REPORT FORM or LABEL) was used, and pretty much everything else.

2) The fact that a particular command (REPORT FORM or LABEL) was used has absolutely *nothing* to do with the extremely minor differences between LBX and FRXs. You can say REPORT FORM my.lbx or LABEL FORM my.frx, and it will work fine. And this has nothing to do with reportlisteners versus old-style (no object) reporting, FWIW.

3) The actual differences between reports and labels are SO slight, both at run time and design time, that, unless you are using very old LBX forms, I sincerely doubt you have come across them in whatever issue you're facing.
