And yes correspondingly huge .h files do take longer to compile, but the enduser doesn't experience that time just us poor slob programmers.

I agree on the office .h files. I do include those into my project, however, it is merely because all examples and Kb articles use them without mentioning the actual value. Remembering these constants is not painless either. I'd rather see a mechanism where those constants end up in intellisense somehow
