I think "more" is not a correct approach. There are many very significant contributions to IT that did not come from MS (which is not to take anything away from MS mind you). Quantifying and comparing different contributions is not easy. For instance the inventors of C, the language used to develop nearly all MS products, I would say is not an insignificant contribution :)
