Just a guess but perhaps your the VFPToolKit assembly on your laptop does not have the proper code access security permissions.

A solution might be to not use the VFPToolKit to connect to the DB. If you look at the help file for the VFPToolkit you can see the code they use for the SqlExecute method and get a good idea of how to implement this method without using the VFPToolkit.
