>Pete go to configuration manager and see if the project is set to debug, it happens to me one time where I changed from release to debug so the solution was showing that I was in debug mode but for a given project that didn't happen, in the configuration manager that only project was showing as release, perhaps that's ur prb.

Hey pete,
Right click on your project (In VS2005) , Select the Debug tab, On the Enable Debugger section make sure the checkbox "Enable the Visual Studio Hosting Process" is checked. There are other Debugger enablers there are well, Sql Server and Unmanaged Code.
