If you know you are always writing for yourself. If you ever intend to work with other programmers, you should get used to the general conventions used for that language.
>>There is a naming convention and it is simple once you start writing code the way the experts at MS or sharp development, etc do. There are numerous standards published on the net and they almost all are the same with a few exceptions and NONE of them use hungarian... that is a relic left over from weak-typed language days.
>>
>>If you take a couple of weeks to concentrate on using variables according to a convention other than VFP style syntax, you will be surprised at how soon you don't rely on it anymore.
>>
>>No offense intended, but I cringe when I see code in .net with Hungarian notation. It smacks of newbie....

>Well, we love Hungarion notification here. :)

>But, the most important thing is you feel ok with the naming convention you use in your application.
