The "flawed model" has been successfully used to design, build, and operate the vast majority, if not all of the equipment you've worked with in your 35 years of experience. That's the true test of a theory.

If you have a different theory:

- tell us what it is and how it differs from the widely-accepted "flawed model"
- demonstrate how your theory performs better in explaining real-world phenomena

Simply telling others that their ideas are "flawed" does not follow the scientific method.
