No I started with .net 2003 but had already convert my projest to 2005 even before this news.
I never bet my future in only 1 language, i'm not that dumb, thank good i'm a good programmer so the language is just a qustion of semantic and learn how to to on a give language what I want to do.
Off course in the beguinning a a new language will take more time to to that then if u where using the language u are use to. but that comes with time, right now i'm as productive in .net as I was in VFP.
I started doing programing in basic on a sectrum 48K that used K7 tapes to load games and programs, i've write Cobol apps for Unisys mapper 1100 cliper apps, foxpro dos and windows apps VFP apps and now .net apps in the future if I would have to lear a new language to stay productive and with work prespective I'll do it, is always fun ;)

>>Now VS.net 2005 will have prbs running on Vista, Microsoft said will resolve that on a post vista release, but will not deal with VS.NET 2003 can u garantie that VFP will work 100% when not even their flag development tool does? WHAT happens if will not work 100% and u have do do a bunch of workarounds?
>>are you and your comapny wiiling to bet the future on that?
>>I'm not.

>Following your sentence, Didn't you already did it? I mean, if you've bet the future in .NET 2003, which is what I understood you did, now you are using a tool soon to be dead, while VFPers still have hope <g>
