There is nothing in it for users other than eye candy. Go look at the UI on the Mac and you'll see why Microsoft added this feature. It's purely to keep up with the competition. Nothing more.
I'm not going to comment anymore on this topic. However, if you want to learn about UI stuff that really will be useful for VFP, then start a new on XAML.
