Funnily enough i had this too earlier this week....

Norton leaves an entry in the registry.

run regedt32.exe

Look in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Outlook.Application\CLSID and find the GUID

then look up that GUID in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Classes

e.g. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}

under that you will see a key INPROCSERVER32

(HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\InProcServer32)

my guess is that there is still a symantec pathname entered in the default value

just delete it (so the default value is blank)
