We're currently trying to pull ALL records from a MS ACCESS table via ODBC through a Remote View. The source table contains roughly 17000 records. When we execute the view, the record counter increments roughly 1000 records per second. Here's the part that's strange. When you start moving the mouse around while the query is running, the counter speeds up dramatically. When you stop moving the mouse, it slows back down to a sluggish pace. This happens both over a network and a local drive.

Any insights into this behavior?
