No, my point is I do not think either one was a joke and do not accept or condone either one. You seem to have criticized one side-only.

If we want to see who does what, just remember that Kerry is a veteran and was in Vietnam. He has passed legislation in favor of the military time and again. I may not like him personally but respect his serving and what he has done for our country and the military. What was Bush record? That he barely spent some time in the guward (and dissapeared for a while)? Come on!
