I almost bought into that horse puckey also, until our clients forced us to shift to .net. We warned them that the performance would be slightly less than the VFP version, but I'm happy to see after 1 year of developement time, that our effort is not wasted. I still miss the ease of use of the local cursor, but ado.net 2.0 is blazingly fast. Let the ostriches keep their head in the sand....
>Wow, really??? Didn't you read the thread going on for the last couple days? I thought .net wasn't ready for primetime. I can't believe anyone would run a production system in an unproven language when you have a language in VFP, that's so perfect for handling data.
