That's turning into a serious figure (and that's just this last month!) and has to smack of Vietnam. Similarly, there were, I think, c. 10 British squaddies killed in Afghanistan last month - and that smarts! UK losses seem to be about 1/10 of the US in this War on Terror but, given the force is only about 1/10 of the US force, then the losses are comparable.
