Alex. This really isn't the issue.
There are many things that anti-Bush faction can complain about. But this?
He could have came in on anything, but he came in on a military jet. I never understood why this "bothered" anyone. Someone in the military approved it for it to happen. If it didn't bother the military, why would it bother you?

So you're againt photo opts.... doesn't it happen all the time on both sides?

This isn't the issue anyway.

FWIW: My brother was in the military stationed in Korea. He got out after 23 years because he HATED Bush (I think he's been reading NY Times too much). But even he thought Kerry's comment was stupid regardless of what he meant.

Me, I don't care. Both sides have said enough stupid things to last a life time, 100 times over.

>No. There isn't, for a fighter jet.

>BTW, He did not fly in a fighter jet, but in an S3 Viking, an anti-submarine plane.

>He could have flown in a C2 transport, normally used to ferry cargo and passengers between shore and carriers, but that would not have been good enough for the photo opportunity and politicians are all about image and perception, not substance and reality.
The American Republic will endure, until politicians realize they can bribe the people with their own money.
