Well, truthfully, I'm afraid I'm still a bleeding heart. ;) But I do try to read. I'm like most people when I read something. I do it with a predilection to what I already think - I think we all do, at least to some extent. In some cases where facts are debatable, my predilections will often prevail. In this case though, it's hard to argue with the numbers, so I pretty much have to accept the truth of it - shock or no.
