>>Yes, all of our attention is directed towards our border with Mexico. Should we make the wall higher, longer, deeper or thicker?

>I recently saw a presentation by Brian Schweitzer, the Governor (D) of Montana. I'm paraphrasing a bit but....... During the Q&A portion he was asked if he thought the policy of building a wall along the border with Mexico was a wise expenditure of government funds. He walked back up to the mike, said "Nope" and backed away for the next question.

Gov. Schweitzer has some national heat going, which is pretty amazing given that he is Governor of a sparsely populated, generally overlooked state whose legislature meets only three months every other year. (About the right proportion, some would say <g>). Some Democrats see him as the antidote to the wimp factor which clings to them like a leech. He is comfortable on a horse and plain-spoken, routinely saying things a politician in a more populous state would be immediately eviscerated for. It won't last, of course, but there seems to be a "Marlboro Man for President" dream by some of the party faithful. "He's a Democrat, by the way."
