The PJM is just a text file representation of the PJX. I don't think the mechanism VFP uses for VSS integration is publicly exposed. You don't have to have all the files under source control, they just won't have VSS icons. I'm not sure if they have a line in the PJM or not.

If you have some really off the wall issues you are dealing with you can have a base pjx/pjt out on the network that all the developers copy local. Use a ProjectMaster that is in charge of keeping the pjx uptodate and alert the team when a change is made.
