Yes, that is something that provides a negative perception on the issue. Many would think those are millionnaires and they would try to collect as much tax as possible from them. But, in overall, the concept is similar. They have a subscription based service and they have been forced to reimbursed the uncollected tax for 2001.
As for Dawn's Place LTD, I didn't have a chance to get in touch with them. That is one of the next steps in this case in trying to collect feedback directly from the representative in order to try to know more about their issue. If it continues like that, this could lead to a new association or something similar, as someone already said, "Ottawa - we have a problem!".
