Have you stored print environments in these reports? If not, did you remove them using the UI or by simply removing all information from Expr, Tag, and Tag2?

In 9, are you SETting REPORTB 90 or using the OBJECT clause, or are you running the original engine code? (Which still uses printer setups and print information differently than before 9, FWIW. And yes it's possible for your multiplier not to work the same way even in SET REPORTB 80, depending on the print setup situation, I would think.)
