Read what I wrote before, Dawa... as I said, that's all I can tell you. I recognized how your data was presented in the incoming file, that's all. It simply did not look like hex to me. So I handled it like what I thought it actually was, and verified that I received the right result by treating it that way.
But I don't ordinarily do my SOAP handling in MS objects. I just have to interop (often from a non-Wintel side) with them, so I have an interest in datatype issues.
But this is not my area of expertise at all. You'll have to do the research from here. I would start by figuring out how the XSD says it's supposed to be sending hex but the incoming payload is not really hex. How did it get that way?
