The sole purpose of that was to be able to do things in a RAD mode of work. I could run the prg (or highlight a code fragment and execute) and have the VSS object still available for more playing with via the command window or in another chunk of code highlighted and executed on the fly lower down in the prg....
I honestly hate having the always run code over and over from the beginning. VFP is the best tool for being able to write long pieces of code and bang it out one little section at a time.
