What we're saying here is that we don't care if SET FIXED works or not, we're just going to work round it. I'm simply claiming that something changed around the time the our clocks changed from BST to GMT which has altered the behaviour of the environment.

I don't know how SET DECIMALS TO works, or SET FIXED. If they rely on an external math DLL to return their results then perhaps that changed? It is all a distraction none of us need.
