Ian,

>I originally had created a mmBusinessForm, but I have also tried turning the navigation toolbar on using a mmMaintenanceForm. The navigator object is being successfully set up as the new button functions properly and relies on this object as well. Any ideas?

I'm not sure why it's not working for you...try going to the sample applicaiton and changing the Employee form so the toolbar displays on the active form (you'll need to resize the pagecontrol so you can see it) and see if that works for you.
