Time out, Evan....I'm not implying a ban for anyone. JVP should never have been banned....and neither should have Claude Fox. The only ban that ever was needed was William Sanders.

If Peter wants to jump in with nothing more than 'Tore's the man', fine.

My point is that the 'famous five' posts by JVP in September 2004 were pretty mild posts - and IMO, deserving of no more than a warning, if even that. Claude's stuff wasn't much more. So if Peter wants to take an unprovoked cheap shot at me, I think he needed a little attention-getter.

If anything, given that I'm enough of a regular contributor on the UT, I'm probably more surprised by your reaction than Peter's.
