>Hi all,

>I'm working on a multi-user FoxPro product across a network. Up to recently we used a 2000 server and everything was fine. Since we've moved to a 2003 server we've ran into problems. We get 3 testers working on the same network tables and within a few minutes the application hangs and seems to lock the tables. The really frustrating thing is that it never hangs in the same area or on the one computer. Our error messages are very vague as well.
>Basically I was wondering if other people had problems going from Server 2000 to 2003. Is there maybe extra security or configuration in 2003 that 2000 doesn't have.

>Just another thing I wanted to add. I'm running VFP 8.0. Is VFP 9.0 more compatiable with 2003 maybe?

If you're running antivirus software, try temporarily disabling it on both the server and workstations to see if that makes a difference.
