start or end tags. Also you need to be careful when using "greater than" and "less than" in expressions because text in between may be treated/parsed as a tag. Also if you have auto-quote set on you get the prior text prepended with "greater than" which can also lead to "tags" being parsed when added to any "less than" in your expressions.


Hi Al,

In my reply to myself I was able to post the code (in my tables the field name is "Style" and not cStyle, but it doesn't matter). It looks like I'm doing the same thing both ways, but the results are completely different. I don't think I'm missing joins. I'm going to select "styles" from "Styles" first (not join with Orders and Or_Items) and see if I'm getting the same number of "Styles" as I do (or prev. programmer did) using SET FILTER command. If the results are totally different, then the answer is clear.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
