Well, this certainly is not the response I expected.

I am most definitely not a recruiter. I am doing research in advance of a developer
software package I'm going to write. I fail to see what info I requested could be
considered confidential. Explain this please.

Again, that seems strange to me. I meet people all the time who I tell I am a programmer. I
hve no problem telling someone I work for a software company and that I have 20 years
experience.

The remaining questions go to how people in our industry do their work. I didn't ask anyone
to reveal trade secrets or company info.

Again, I'm miffed by this response.
