I am trying to use a business object which is a dataset with a join between two tables for a Matrix control in a RDLC report. If one uses Northwind as an example, I want one field of the Orders table as the 'Dynamic Row, Group Headers', and two fields of 'Order Details' for the 'Dynamic Column, Group Headers' and the 'Detail Cells' displayed in a Matrix control in a subreport. I have made several RDLC reports with multiple subreports. In all cases the report and the subreports were each based upon a separate, single datatable. Also, I have made exactly what I wanted in an RDL report using a two table join query using SQL Reporting Services but the conversion of the RDL to RDLC, and the use MM objects for data, did not work.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
