She would not have won state-wide but in her district she got 50%. She is replacing a rather conservative guy who made a run the open senate seat and lost by a good margain.
We would have seen a lot more support for third parties (independence party mostly) in the state if the races were not so close and people like myself had to make a instant run-off decision for my vote.
