By the way, these "2D bar codes" are absolutely not new, I saw them more than 20 years ago many places. For instance I recall that PcMagazine used to show long program listings using "2D bar codes". I believe that they soon became less and less popular because they tended to be very sensitive, you needed an almost perfect printing to be able to read the data after some time.
