a client of mine has a blank bio-data application form format in MS WORD in which values (Name, Date of Birth, Address, etc.) are to be filled in by picking the values from tables in a database.

unfortunately, this blank MS WORD document that my client uses does not make use of the MS WORD TABLE feature.

i am required to insert the correct value at the appropriate place in the document.

my question is - How can i fill in the values in the appropriate position ? can i use the MS WORD - AT, LN and COL positions to home in on the exact location within the document and insert the desired value at the appropriate place ? If i can use this method, can someone give me an example of the coding syntax that would help me to accomplish this task ?
