I like using GKK Compare. We are now testing SourceGear Vault for source control with success as well. However, Vault does not do a good job of displaying the differences in forms and classes but GKK does. I would like to configure Vault to use GKK as its diff program. In SourceGear Vault, under tools, options, you can setup a different program and include arguments to view differences. The default setup in Vault is:
Program:
%VAULT_EXE_DIR%/sgdm.exe
Arguments:
/ro1 /ro2 /title1:"%LEFT_LABEL%" /title2:"%RIGHT_LABEL%" "%LEFT_PATH%" "%RIGHT_PATH%"
I have tried just pointing to the GKKCompare.app which of course runs out of memory. Is it possible to have an .exe or .dll created of GKKCompare to see if that will work? Also, can you pass the two filenames to it as arguments? Has anyone else done this before?
TIA,
Tracy
