>Did you not listen to the big-mouth Kerry and his comments? I subscribe to Pro-fox also, and there are a lot of liberal anti-military mongers there also. Its funny to me how you can bash the military in one breath and in the next say "its never been about the military".

We are all entitled to an opinion and I find it hard to understand the truth and reality in your statements. As I have said before:

1. Bush can say whatever he wants and the next day his press secretary will do damage control. “What the president really meant was…”!

2. Kerry makes questionable remarks and it is the end of the world. Only Kerry has made a mistake and cannot be forgiven.

>When the libs in power succeed in demoting America as a world power and succed in failing to protect our interests then what I've said will come to pass. Its shades of the Clinton era all over again.

Do you realize what has happened to our country as far as being a world power since Bush took office? How about our relationships with other nations? How many friends do we now have?

You have obviously forgotten how the republicans many every attempt to suppressed and criticize anything Clinton did in the national interest.

>Shame on you... don't bomb New York, we'll have to get tough. It took G.W.Bush and crew to show the terrorists that we'd back up what we threatened. As long as the feel-gooders are in charge, we can kiss pride in our country and the military professionals goodbye. There will be cuts in defense spending, the evisceration of the military like it was under Clinton, and we will once again be the laughing stock of the world.
>

Yes, we attacked Iraq, that hot bed of terrorism directed towards the United States. We could have attacked Cuba or the Congo in the name of our honor! We wanted blood and we accomplished our task! Has our action in Iraq has made the world safe? Are our borders secure? Are our shipping ports secure and there is no chance of any material getting through them that could hurt us? Does cargo on airplanes have security?

How many cutbacks in the military did we have under Bush? Oh yes, we have spent more but for the war. Bush and the republicans did not support our troops in Iraq as they should have.

I also hope that you are wrong.

>eople with chips on their shoulder. You're right. I've never, ever heard anyone say anything discouraging about our troops. I've never heard anyone, as I think it was Jake here who said it, wanted the USA to loose the war.
>>
>>It's been about those at the top from day #1. Always about those at the top, who obviously had an agenda that didn't take into account troop safety. I.E. lack of body armor, lack of oversite of halliburton.
>>
>>How it got turned around to "not made to feel like ignorant know-nothings..." is beyond me.
>>
>>>Why do you say that? I haven't heard ANYONE blame the troops for the mess in Iraq. I think we all know who's to blame, and it isn't the troops.
>>>
