Terrific stuff. However, cheezy it ain't. I'm sure that as we become more and more familiar with _Access and _Assign that we'll begin to wonder how we ever got along without them.George:
One of the very neat things about Access(), Assign() methods I have used in other languages is that your can effortlessly control the display of field data on a form using Access() and Assign() to change one data type to any other -- for example .T. and .F. to "Go" and "Stop". This means that you can store data in your tables in its most efficient form without being compelled to undertake elaborate coding to transform the data for purposes of display on the form.
I presume VFP6 will have that ability, and I am certainly looking forward to the flexibility.
