Hi!

>Rounding is always a pain.

It's a real story from my practice. The minimum wage in Russia was 83.49 rub. In the eve of 8 March a company decided to give each woman a holiday bonus equal to the minimum wage. It was about 400 women, so the total was about 83.49*400= 33396.00.
Now, because the bonuses were cashed immediately, the company had to deduct pension taxes of 1% from each woman's bonus and transfer the taxes to the government immediately as well. The total of taxes was sum(round(83.49*0.01,2))= 0.83*400= 332.00.
Now the taxes officer looked at the taxes report and demanded: why you're giving us 332.00 instead of 333.96? Our tax program cannot take the report if the difference is more than 0.05.

:)

Regards,
Sergey
