Now, finding a job in USA or Canada would be hard if you're not already in one of these countries and have a legal status allowing you to work. As far as I know, not that many companies would agree to do all necessary paper work to obtain the H1 visa for the foreign worker. It was a different situation 6-7 years ago, when lots of H1 visa were issued. Nowdays most companies would prefer to find a local candidate or outsource the whole project (or part of it).
