The simple solution is to divide the country into Shiite, Sunni and Kurdish regions. Seems like things have been peaceful in the north where the Kurds are located. The only problem with that plan is that Iran and Turkey promised to attack the Kurds if they become autonomous!

Well, there is no solution that will please more than a few persons. The quicker we get our collective act together the better.

How about we send Rumsfeld over there to negotiate peace? I jest.

Personally, I think the situation will get worse regardless of if we stay or not. How about we follow the right wing/NRA concept of giving everyone a gun? We can leave and then they can do what they like.
