Yeah, actually, I like conquering little weird programming challenges like this, and I certainly like seeing how others solve the same problem.

Overnight, I thought of a solution that I think would work, but it's nowhere near as simple and straightforward as yours, so I won't bother.

A weekly programming mini-challenge would indeed be fun.
