I want to thank you for the idea of using Excel to create the report format you want, save the file as HTML and then use TextMerge to get VFP to output the HTML files necessary to re-create the report in the original Excel format. It just saved me hours of struggling with OLE to get the effects I wanted, and made me look good to my client... so don't tell anyone else! <grin>
